On Saturday, Oct. 24, from 10 a.m. to Noon the Adams County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration will provide the public the opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs.
Deer-vehicle crashes continue to be a major concern for Wisconsin motorists. The majority of deer-vehicle collisions occur during the months of October and November when deer are most active.
In 2019 there were 101 reported car-deer collisions with five reported injuries and no fatalities in Adams County.
