The 4th Grade teachers at Adams-Friendship Elementary School decided to teach their students about their rights and responsibilities as well as the three branches of our government. They also shared information on the responsibilities of the President of the United States and the differences between local and federal government.

Arkdale Trinity Lutheran Church’s Annual Harvest Dinner will be served by curb side pick-up or “drive-thru” service (follow the signs) only on Tuesday November 3 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm at 1650 Church Street and State Road 21 in Arkdale. The cost of each meal is $7.

Christa and Lee Pingel of New Lisbon are the parents of a baby girl, Vivian Jo Pingel, born October 5 at Mile Bluff Medical Center in Mauston. She weighed 8 pounds, 7 ounce and measured 20 ¾ inches. Maternal grandparents are Donna and James Beranek of Holmen. Paternal grandparents are Kathy and David Pingel of Ashland, Wisconsin.
The 33rd Annual Thanksgiving Dinner hosted by Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church of Adams, 243 North Linden Street, will be held on November 26 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This free dinner will be carryout only to conform with social distancing.
