Library Notes

 
UPDATE!
Beginning June 1, Adams County Library will return to normal summer hours.  
No appointments needed.
The hours will be M-W-F 9-5, Tues 9-7, Thurs 1-7. The Reading Room will be open as well.  Saturday hours will resume in July. We also will continue the popular curbside/walkup service.

District Administrator’s Corner

The Adams-Friendship Area School District is blessed to have incredible staff members.  This has been demonstrated over and over again since March 13, 2020.  That was the evening that schools across Wisconsin were shut down due to the Covid19 Pandemic.

Older American Month Interview With Marilyn Baggs

Marilyn Baggs came to the Adams-Friendship area in November of 1960, her junior year at Adams-Friendship High School. Before coming to this area, she grew up in the southwestern part of Wisconsin, and has lived in different states before returning to “good ole’ Wisconsin”.

Births

Auora and Brent Jackson of Adams are the parents of a baby girl, Emberly Sue Jackson, born April 13 at Mile Bluff Medical Center in Mauston.  She weighed 9 pounds, 1 ounce and measured 20 ½ inches.  Maternal grandparents are Laurel and Alan Falash of Adams.  Paternal grandparents are Sue and Joe Jackson of Adams.
