With 66 new COVID-19 cases in one week in Adams County and eight county employees placed under quarantine in the last two weeks, the Administrative and Finance Committee considered revisions to its COVID-19 Plan at its Sept 3 meeting. The current COVID-19 Plan is set to expire on Sept 30 if no action is taken.

After five years of planning, the new Adams YMCA Aspirus Health Center is ready for business. After five months of construction which began in April, the ribbon-cutting ceremony was held last Thursday with about 30 people in attendance to get a first look at the new facility.

The Adams County Board of Supervisors approved changes to the  Adams County Personnel Manual to include changes consistent with the recently approved Court House Security Policy at its Aug. 17 meeting after debating a telework provision proposed for the Manual.
