The Board of Education Meeting of the Adams-Friendship School District was held on July 11, 2022 at 7:00pm at the A-F Fine Arts Center. All Board Members were present. After the pledge of Allegiance, the agenda was adopted by a 9-0 vote.
With perfect weather on hand, the new County Courthouse Building additions were officially opened on June 28 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by about 20 to 30 people. The event was five years in the making resulting in a new jury court room and significant security improvements including a new single point of entry to the building.
The county has installed cluster boxes at the Courthouse and at the Health and Human Services building. The Cluster Box system requires a Suite number for all incoming mail. The United States Post Office has all the new information entered into their system.
