Green Devils Sweep Nekoosa in Boys Soccer

Playing for the second time in a week, the Adams-Friendship Soccer Team was very familiar with what they would be up against last Tuesday. The Green Devils were playing through some bumps and bruises at this point in the season and the team was not as sharp early on as it had been a week prior in Nekoosa.

Green Devils Seal Playoff Bid, Earn Rematch vs. Rivals

Last Friday night, the Adams-Friendship Green Devils endured a two hour bus ride for a chance to secure a WIAA playoff spot. Sitting at 3-3 in the South Central Conference, Adams-Friendship was told they needed another win to guarantee a bid to the postseason.

The Green Devil Volleyball Team has had trouble this fall keeping a consistent lineup and rotation on the floor. With multiple key players missing, the team had trouble keeping pace last week with two of the conference top programs.

Cross Country Runs Well at Nekoosa

Kennedy Webb took home a third place finish last week Tuesday for the Adams-Friendship Cross Country Team at Nekoosa. On the boys side of competition, Andrew Vandergailian and Joseph Bokota brought home a 9th and 10th place finish. Zoe Schumacher set a personal best time of 27:05 and is starting to run well for the team.

Chiefs Spoil Adams-Friendship Homecoming Week

The undefeated Wisconsin Dells Football Team came into Adams on Friday night trying to win in a place they have not since 2012. The Chiefs seemed unphased by recent history and got off to a fast start. Using a drive of mostly running plays to running back Matt Getgen, the Chiefs staked a quick 7-0 lead with a one yard touchdown run.

Boys Soccer Endures a Couple Hard Fought Losses

Last  Monday the Adams-Friendship Green Devils Boys Soccer team would travel to Mauston. In the first three minutes of the game the Golden Eagles would try to score early on a corner kick. Goalie Kolby Doyle denied the shot to keep the game scoreless.

Green Devils Make Valiant Comeback, Fall Short in OT

The Adams-Friendship Green Devil Football team overcame in-game injuries and battled adversity on Friday night at Poynette. In game action, the Green Devils struck first on a scoring drive that was capped by a two yard touchdown run by quarterback Aiden Livingston. The two point conversion attempt failed and it was 6-0 Green Devils.

Girls Volleyball Inches Closer to Victory

The Adams-Friendship Volleyball Team had three close losses last week while showing great improvement on the court. On Monday, the team traveled to Portage and lost three close sets. Two of these matches went past the 25 point threshold as the 1st and 3rd match were very competitive.

Jordyn Anderson from Adams County 4-H Participates in State Gymkhana

Jordyn Anderson, Wisconsin Dells, participated in the 34th annual Wisconsin State 4-H Gymkhana held September 11 and 12 at the State Fairgrounds in West Allis.  Gymkhana is a term used to describe an equestrian event consisting of speed pattern racing and timed games for riders on horses.

   Boys Soccer Grabs Big Road Win

The Adams-Friendship High Boys Soccer Team traveled to  Coulee Christian  Thursday, September 14, 2021. With losses a year ago (5-2 and 7-2) the Green Devils were eager to get back out on the pitch and avenge those setbacks. In the 6th minute of the game, the Green Devils nearly connected with the first goal of the game.
