Adams County: Endangered/Threatened/Special Concern Species

Many people have heard a lot about the state Endangered Species Act due to the recent wolf hunt in Wisconsin, triggered by the delisting of the gray wolf from the Endangered/Threatened list.  Wisconsin’s first list of endangered and threatened species was made in 1972, shortly after the Wisconsin legislature passed Section 29.04, Wis. Stats.
