Man sentenced to 3 years in prison for trying to strangle girlfriend

Jason Taufner, age 45, appeared in Adams County Court on Mar. 31 facing three counts including, strangulation, battery and disorderly conduct. Taufner is currently serving out a sentence in the Green Bay Correctional Institution for a 2007 incident in Racine County.
