James Siegert, age 37, of Adams, was convicted by a jury on three counts last Friday including first degree reckless homicide in a 2018 fentanyl overdose that led to the death of McKenzie Matrick who was approximately 21 at the time. The reckless homicide charge, a Class C felony, carries a maximum of 40 years in prison and a $100,000 fine.
