Town of Jackson ATV/UTV Public Hearing

The Town of Jackson Board held a public hearing about opening all town roads to ATV/UTV traffic and whether to adopt the county restrictions on ATV/UTV operators.  The hearing took place in the outside pavilion at the Oxford VFW on Saturday, July 24, 2021.  About 25 people attended the meeting.  Copies of the first and third pages of the county

Jury convicts Adams man of 1st degree reckless homicide

James Siegert, age 37, of Adams, was convicted by a jury on three counts last Friday including first degree reckless homicide in a 2018 fentanyl overdose that led to the death of McKenzie Matrick who was approximately 21 at the time. The reckless homicide charge, a Class C felony, carries a maximum of 40 years in prison and a $100,000 fine.
