New Judgeship For Adams County

Veterans Memorial Moves Forward

The new Veterans Memorial to be located on the west side of the County Courthouse building is expected to finalize its design this week it was reported at the Veterans Service Commission meeting last week. Harmony Construction, builders of the new YMCA facility in Adams and the Adams County Fire Station, will oversee placement and construction.

Proposed 2022 County Budget Unveiled

The proposed 2022 Adams County budget was advanced at last week’s Administrative & Finance Committee meeting. The nearly $55,785,000 budget is down from 2021’s $56,650,000 budget and will result in another decrease in the mill rate for 2022 coming in at 6.297100% down from 6.527274%, last year.

The 81st Anniversary of WAHCE (Wisconsin Association for Home and Community Education, Inc) Annual Meeting and Conference was held in Stevens Point, September 20 through September 22.  Over 200 Home and Community Education (HCE) members attended from across the state including several members from Adams County.

New Drug Free Youth Club announced at Drug Free Adams County Task Force Meeting
