City Council Convenes Brief Session

The City of Adams City Council convened briefly in open session at its meeting on Monday. Two alderpersons were excused from the session.
In new business the City Council accepted the bid from CTW Corporation to replace the drive system in Well No #4 by a four to zero vote.

New County Entrance Set to Open in February

The new entrance to the Adams County Courthouse building is expected to be open to the public on February 14, it was stated in an email to county supervisors on Thursday. The new single point of entry to the county facility was part of a larger $ 5 million project to improve overall building security and add a new jury trial room.

1936 Adams County Road Workers

For the safety of all those on the road, drivers are reminded to stay at least 200 feet behind a snowplow that is clearing ice or snow, or laying salt or sand on a highway with a speed limit more than 35 miles per hour. New Chester Has 40 Days to Respond
